Verizon signed a deal Thursday to accumulate BlueJeans, a business-focused video conferencing service that competes with Zoom and Microsoft Groups. The deal comes because the coronavirus pandemic has led to lockdowns and shelter-in-place orders — that means many individuals are actually working from residence and in want of video conferencing choices.
